“Gary took some impromptu photographs of me in the late stages of my second pregnancy and I was thrilled with the results. A 10 minute walk in the park resulted in some beautiful photographs capturing my blooming last trimester of pregnancy.
After this, I asked Gary if he would take some photographs of my new daughter when she was about 10 weeks old, along with my three year old son, my husband and I. Bearing in mind I had recently given birth, I wasn’t feeling particularly confident or glamorous, but Gary totally put me at ease and I didn’t feel self-conscious at all. More importantly, Gary was fantastic with my new born daughter who was very happy throughout the shoot and I put this down to Gary’s calm attitude and gentle nature with my daughter.
Her safety and wellbeing was paramount throughout and when Gary felt that my daughter was getting a little fractious and bored, he suggested she had time out while he captured some beautiful off-the-cuff pictures of my son and husband playing outside with a wheelbarrow.
Gary was extremely professional throughout, happy to oblige and try ideas as well as suggesting poses that would come across well, adjusting lighting and lenses as he went to ensure the final pictures were of the utmost quality. Gary is a true professional and his approach was very natural rather than taking staged photographs with props or gimmicks. I was delighted with the final photographs and would definitely call on Gary’s services again.

Photographing animals is a real skill because you can’t direct them! Animal photography means being constantly on the alert for potential shots because they can never be repeated. Gary was really patient and calm which resulted in some beautiful shots of my horse. Rather than being posed, the photos are very natural and capture the relationship between us. “Gary recently took a beautiful picture of my children in the lavender fields. We absolutely love it, which will take pride of place in our home. I was open minded to what I wanted because I knew it would be difficult to get three young children doing the same thing, at the same time!
